Do you want to participate in the development and testing of components for use in space, or in the integration and testing of entire satellites? We have a unique opportunity for you to become part of our team in the VZLU SPACE division. If you have hands-on experience with electronics, mechanics, are a space enthusiast and enjoy hands-on lab work, this position is for you.

What will be your job description:

  • Comprehensive work including planning, designing and performing tests of satellites and components for the space segment
  • Integration/validation work in the ESD lab and cleanroom
  • Design of verification methods for SW/HW/SYS requirements
  • Creation of technical documentation, presentation of results
  • Communication with customers regarding clarification of test procedures.
  • Close cooperation with colleagues from other development departments (HW, SW, design…)

What you should have, know and be able to do:

  • Experience in the Aerospace/Space segment (ECSS)
  • University degree in a technical field (ideally focusing on electromechanics, electronics, etc.)
  • Programming in Python
  • Proactive team approach to work
  • Ability to work independently with a result orientation
  • English at B2 level (spoken and written)

Your advantage will also be:

  • Overlaps to other technical fields (Physics, Mechanics, Thermodynamics …)
  • Practical experience in electronics
  • Experience in running a laboratory/electronics workshop/testing room etc.
  • Experience in designing and performing space environmental tests (thermal, vacuum, structural, radiation)
