Do you want to be a part of development of space missions, from initial drafts to flight? We have a unique opportunity for you to join the VZLU Space division. If you have experience with software development from design to final testing, this position is suitable for you.
What will be your agenda
- Design and development of flight and ground software
- Development of Embedded Linux applications
- Specification of software requirements and architecture
- Programming in C and scripting in Python
- Implementation of tests on both unit and integration level
- Creation of technical documentation
- Close cooperation with colleagues from other development departments (hardware design, attitude control, flight operations etc.)
What should your skills be
- University education in a technical field (ideally focusing on SW, electronics)
- Proven experience with SW design and development
- Experience with SW development cycle management
- Ability to work independently with a focus on results
- English at B2 level (spoken and written form)
It will definitely be to your advantage
- Skills with several programming languages (C++, Rust) and tools (git, pytest)
- Experience in the Aerospace/Space segment
- Knowledge of the ECSS standards framework
- Experience with flight software frameworks (e.g. cFS or fprime)
