Composites with modified surface optical properties for space applications
The main objective of the project is to develop a new composite material with modified optical properties of the surface for space applications. The composite will be developed in two versions: the first type will have the minimum reflectance, and the second type will have the maximum reflectance in the visible and infrared spectrum. The advantage of newly developed materials will be mainly in new features and properties in the field of protective coatings consisting of thin films and nanolayers applied to composites, which are the high demanded characteristics for space products.
