Czech high-school students from team Lasar, who won the prestigious Conrad Challenge in Houston, are preparing to launch their own satellite into space. Their winning idea involves using lasers to mitigate space debris by repairing nonfunctioning satellites or removing them from orbit. The team has named their satellite LASARsat, and VZLÚ is proud to be a partner in this exciting project.
