Science and Technology Park VZLU Prague

Science and Technology Park VZLU (VTP) is placed in Prague - Letnany near metro station Letnany (line C) and near PVA - Prague Exhibition Centre. Founder, owner and operator of the Park is Výzkumný a zkušební letecký ústav, a.s. (Czech Aerospace Research Centre). Dozens of innovative technology companies are located in VZLU´s 'Science and Technology Park'

The Park is a part of regional inovation infrastructure and plays an active role in the development of knowledge economy and industry with main focus on Aerospace, Defence and Security. Innovative environment is also suitable for automotive industry, railway industry, power engineering and construction industry. The arrangement of premises of the Science and Technology Park enables the laboratory, manufacture, storage and administrative activities to develop.

The Park offers a wide range of services which are needed for foundation and operation of innovative companies, e.g. consulting in R&D, consulting in industrial property rights, support in transfer of R&D results, education, information technology as well as consulting in law or economics, etc. Conference and meeting rooms with capacity up to 60 seats, fully equipped with presentation technology are also available at the VZLU premises. Inovative business is supported also in the form of scientific and technical workshops (e.g. aerodynamics, composites, strength and durability of structures) which are focused on transfer of knowledge. There are a number of succesful transfers of technology accomplished, e.g. infusion technology for manufacturing of composite structures (multiple), technology of friction stir welding, algorithms for aerodynamics calculations etc.
