THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK OF VZLU PRAGUE – RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, AND INNOVATION AT ONE ADDRESS
The Science and Technology Park of VZLU Prague is an area with extensive science and technology background – mainly in aerospace sector, where companies with focus on innovations concentrate. Even your company can relocate to the Park premises and thus gain advantage of a unique development environment.
The Science and Technology Park of VZLU Prague is located in Prague-Letňany district, close to Letňany metro station and the Prague ring road. Výzkumný a zkušební letecký ústav, a.s. (the Czech Aerospace Research Centre) is the founder and owner of the Park.
There are laboratory, production, office and storage facilities, as well as parking areas available within the Park. All in an area with unique technical infrastructure such as wind tunnels, special clean laboratories for space research, development and production of composites, engine and aircraft test facilities.
The Science and Technology Park of VZLU Prague includes workplaces for universities and companies from the aerospace industry.
The inspiring environment is supported through professional workshops (e.g., aerodynamics, composites, material properties), which focus on transfer of knowledge from the basic and applied research and development. There were numerous successful technology transfers in the past, such as infusion technology for the production of composite components (multiple times), friction welding technology, algorithms for aerodynamic calculations, etc.
Czech Aerospace Research Centre provides or is able to arrange for technological advice, patent advice, certification advice, financial and legal advice as required.
