Responsibilities:
- Setting standards and procedures for quality in space projects
- Reviewing customer requirements to ensure that they can be/are being met
- Define mission PA/QA requirements and their verification
- Preparation of project product and quality assurance documentation, e.g. PA&QA Plans
- Participation in formal customer reviews (Design & Test related)
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
- Perform or co-ordinate internal audits (product and process) and manage any corrective actions
- Interact with customers and suppliers in Quality/Product Assurance matters
- Participate in bid/proposal preparations Skills & Experience
- Lessons learnt implementation
Qualifications and experience:
- Engineer (Degree level) with experience in Product Assurance and Quality management disciplines;
- Experience within the space domain with a working knowledge of ESA ECSS development and quality standards (for ground and/or flight product applications)
- Experience in the domain of electronic system development (hardware/firmware and software)
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills
- Have experience in interacting with customers, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Experience in supporting the Engineering Teams and have a proactive attitude towards solving problems
- Experience in configuration management (documentation, hardware, software, etc.)
