Project Title: Development of airframe for the L-39NG next generation aircraft
Project Description:
The aim of the project is to design, to analyse, to produce and to test airframe for the L-39NG aircraft. The airframe consist of fuselage, wing and tai unit. The objective is the airframe, with following major improvements:
- Life extension
- Reduced weight
- Corrosion protections and surface treatment
- Birdstrike protection improvement
- Higher performance canopy transparencies
- Metallic and composite materials in accordance with latest standards
These airframe improvements will result in reduction of specific fuel consumption and lifecycle cost of L-39NG Aircraft. The project result will be prototype of L-39NG airframe including design and test documentation.
