VZLU opens new branch in Brno


Czech Aerospace Research Centre opens new branch in Brno with exclusive focus on space projects.

The goal of VZLU team in Brno is to extend the VZLU potential in space activities with special focus on satellite systems. The new branch specialized in satellite technologies will enhance the current wide range of space programs, such as the development of an airbreathing ion engine, the VZLSAT nanosatellite family, development and testing for the launcher ARIANE 6, and various ESA projects.

VZLU's new offices in Brno are now under construction, meanwhile the team has settled down in the TITC science and technology park. Moving to the new offices at Kralovo pole is scheduled for the beginning of 2020.

Currently, the branch in Brno is looking to hire suitable candidates for two special positions:

Embedded Software Engineer, who will be responsible for complex development of electronic devices designed for space projects in VZLU.

Mechanical Design Engineer, who will be responsible for designing complex solutions, constructions and other operations associated with the development of mechanical components of space devices.
