The project focuses on technology for the production of high-performance thermoplastic (composite) parts for the most demanding applications. Research will be carried out on three selected technologies, such as optimization of layer composition in thermoforming, autoclave consolidation and pellet production. Selected processes will be investigated from the level of testing of the material itself through the testing of the construction nodes to demonstrators' tests. The prototype will be manufactured according to the customer's specifications. Tests at all levels will be designed to focus on the critical or most important parameters of a given technology or structural structure. Production and testing facilities will be developed and manufactured. Modern computational methods, adapted for special applications, will be used to design structures. Some technological processes will be simulated by a special SW. The main objective is to manufacture and test part of aviation engineering with appropriate technology to the level required for immediate commercial use. The expected benefits are increasing technical parameters, saving materials, reducing weight even with less impact on the environment. Another goal is the transfer of technology to the field of surgical aids. The selected part of the external fixator will be developed, manufactured and tested. The project will also focus on the evaluation of newly introduced material and the use of glass fibers inside the composite to measure its deformations.
