The solution of the project will focus on the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of the locomotive development series systems, respectively. to extend the operating ranges of external temperatures while maintaining or reducing the energy demands of systems. One of the parameters monitored is to increase the driver's thermal comfort in the locomotive cabin in extreme climatic conditions. Compared to existing cabs operating in conditions from -40 ° C to 40 ° C, the eastern market cabins are exposed to temperatures up to -50 ° C. Another parameter to be followed is the reliability of auxiliary drives for extreme climatic conditions. Detailed measurements will be carried out to identify the system and find a more efficient and reliable solution. The originality of the project lies in focusing on the extremely low temperature conditions required by current legislation and the customer as a necessary export condition.
