New workplace of the Aerospace Research Centre

The Aerospace Research Centre launched ceremoniously its new workplace at VZLU on March 30, 2009, in the presence of managing director Josef Kašpar and ARC manager Martin Holl. The workplace has been set up to create better working and communication conditions for experts in the field of space research and development.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Education MŠMT, the Aerospace Research Centre was set up in 2000 to create so called “Centres of Excellence”, their objective being to concentrate research capacities into the Centres and facilitate transfer of knowledge to other subjects. The project is divided into six research blocks: Aerodynamics; Modern Technologies; Power Plants; Design, Strength and Service Life; Space Research; Research Economic Aspects.
