In September the international science conference MOSATT was held in Kosice, Slovakia.
The mail goal of conference was to assess the current status of safety in transportation under the new conditions of globalization and extension of the EU and find inspirations in the quest for ways of minimizing safety risks in the various branches of transportation.
As part of this conference was held a half-day workshop of Esposa project (Efficient Systems and Propulsion for Small Aircraft), involving 40 institutions (including VZLÚ) from 15 countries.
The main aim of Esposa is to develop and integrate new engine components for small turbines with an output of 1000 kW and propose new efficient manufacturing processes for these components. VZLU is a Project Administrator in this project. More on www.esposa-project.eu
