VZLU AEROSPACE actively develops contacts and cooperation with universities, research organizations, and industry through both national and international organizations.
ALLIANCE FOR ZERO-EMISSION AVIATION
VZLU AEROSPACE has been a member of AZEA since 2022. The Alliance is a voluntary initiative of private and public partners who share the objective of preparing the entry into commercial service of hydrogen-powered and electric aircraft. It was established on the initiative of the European Commission and brought together almost 150 industrial enterprises, airlines, airports, and institutions. It is intended to contribute to the creation of an ecosystem for the decarbonization of aviation.
ASSOCIATION OF EUROPEAN RESEARCH ESTABLISHMENTS IN AERONAUTICS
We have been a member of EREA since 2001. The Association comprises 9 national aerospace establishments of the EU and has a strong influence on making European policy in aerospace research and technological development. Members of the Association are involved in preparing programs to promote European research and development of new technologies.
ASSOCIATION OF EUROPEAN SPACE RESEARCH ESTABLISHMENT
We have been a member of the ESRE since 2018. The Association focuses on the coordination and integration of space-related research activities, mainly within European industry, and seeks to intensify cooperation among its members with third parties in the field of space. It aims to increase the global competitiveness of the European space sector.
INTERNATIONAL ASTRONAUTICAL FEDERATION
International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is a leading international non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 1951, which comprises hundreds of members from over 80 countries. It aims to support international cooperation in research and the use of space for peace and development, expand knowledge, and support the exchange of technical and scientific information.
INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF THE AERONAUTICAL SCIENCES
Since 2008, we have been an associate member of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS). ICAS is a non-governmental, non-profit scientific organization established in 1957 to ensure cooperation among aerospace companies. Nowadays, ICAS comprises 32 companies from many countries.
INTERNATIONAL FORUM FOR AVIATION RESEARCH
IFAR represents the world´s only aviation research establishment network. IFAR aims to enable information exchange and communication and to develop among its members a shared understanding of challenges such as emissions, noise, security, safety, efficient operations, and steps to reduce the impact of aviation on climate and the environment.
ASSOCIATION OF THE CZECH AEROSPACE INDUSTRY
As a supplier of research & development and testing work, VZLU AEROSPACE collaborates closely with the Czech aerospace industry represented by ALKP. The association was established in 1994 to promote the Czech aerospace industry as a strategic industrial branch strongly affecting other industries.
ASSOCIATION OF RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS
AVO represents the interests of organizations whose research and development results are predominantly commercialized. At present, it represents nearly 8 000 professionals working in this field. It is the only association in the Czech Republic that represents applied research and development within the business sector.
DEFENCE AND SECURITY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
AOBP comprises over 280 companies that deal with research, development, production, trade, and marketing in the defense and security industry. For VZLU AEROSPACE brings new opportunities for collaboration in the dual-use sector, while also expanding our presence in the defense and security industries.
