VZLU AEROSPACE received prestigious Visionary 2025 award

As part of the Visionary 2025 award ceremony, we had the honor of receiving a special Golden Fund prize, awarded for the very first time.

The jury awarded:

🥇  Special award of the expert jury, introduction of VZLU AEROSPACE to the Golden Fund of Visionaries, for the exceptional long-term contribution of innovative products and processes to the Czech economy and society.

We are very grateful for this award. It is a recognition of the work, dedication, and expertise of everyone involved in our projects.

The special award of the expert jury follows the awards that VZLU AEROSPACE has received throughout the years. The continued recognition from the expert jury confirms the company’s stable role as a key player in Czech aviation and space research.

Visionary of the Year 2019 – satellite VZLUSAT-1. Launched into space in 2017. Communicated for six years and has become the longest-communicating satellite in the history of the Czech Republic and Czechoslovakia. The previous holder of this record was the Magion satellite. The project was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, and VZLU AEROSPACE’s own sources.

Visionary of the Year 2024 –  unmanned eVTOL vehicle MiYa. The project introduces a unique concept of a hybrid aircraft designed for vertical take-off and landing. The project is currently testing a demonstration model at a 1:4 scale. It was supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and by VZLU AEROSPACE’s own sources.

Visionary of the Year 2025 – satellite SATurnin-1. Launched into space aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket in January 2025. The satellite is responsible for capturing images of the planet. The project was supported by the Ministry of Defense.
