The organizational structure of ARC consists of the following three subjects - Brno University of Technology, Aeronautical Research and Test Institute in Prague and Czech Technical University in Prague.
The Centre uses new approaches to managing the research tasks.
The priority of the centre is to ensure an effective co-operation of research sector with an aerospace industry.

Aerospace Research Centre

Aerospace Research Centre (ARC) was founded in 2000 with the help of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports aiming to establish “Centres of Excellence”. The main goal of this programme is to concentrate research capacities and activities in the centres and to provide for the effective transfer of findings on other bodies.

The main goals:
  • Improvement of the involvement of SMEs in the application of the research results by using them directly in their own development 
  • Encouraging young people’s interest in research work and their direct involvement in specific projects of their doctoral studies theme 
  • Creation of conditions for the transfer of young qualified specialists into the application sphere as this is the most effective way of transferring the research results into practice 
  • Maintaining the reputation of the ARC Centre not only within the Czech Republic but also achieving acknowledgement within the European Research and getting involved in the Centres of Excellence 
  • To establish the ARC Centre as a recognized partner in international cooperation, especially within the EU Framework Programs
