Project objectives

The project has been targeted into the research of virtual simulations, HW and SW modelling and applying electronic cams in the control systems of machines. The target will be reached through dividing the project into three independent parts.

VZLU´s task in this project

The project is managed by VUTS Liberec (Textile Machines Research Institute in the town of Liberec). Based on virtual simulations, its objective is to work out the mechanical structure of the machine respecting its manufacturing applications, functionality, effectiveness and prize. VZLU participates in the project by solving specific flow problems using CFD simulation and employing its own solvers of Navier-Stokes equations. Specifically, VZLU is working on methods to choose right boundary conditions to avoid disturbing phenomena at contact with internal flow field.
