The objective of the project is
a) to develop a small multipurpose airplane in the category FAR23 Normal and SFAR as a replacement for the 9-seat airplanes whose service life is coming to an end.
b) in this way to support Czech manufacturers united in the Association of Aircraft Manufacturers. Based on the detailed marketing survey the preproject of the land and the amphibious airplane version has been elaborated. During the project running the land version prototypes will be designed, constructed, verified and approved. At designing the amphibious version will be taken into account whose development should follow. Maximum of manufactured and purchased components will be of Czech origin, which will bring at the subsequent serial production improvement of economic parameters of participating companies, enhancement of their competitiveness in the world markets and - last but not the least- it should also enhance export effectiveness of the whole economy.

VZLU participates in the project in the field of aeroelasticity, its main business being analyses of aeroelasticity properties of structures.
Aeroelesticity calculations particularly calculations of dynamic stability (flutter) are conducted with the aid of modern FEM-based methods. For that purpose a structural dynamic model has been created which is continuously updated taking into account latest theoretical and experimental data of the structure studied.
Methodological procedures and computational aids as designed for other jobs are employed in the project, too.
