Scientific seminar on Airflow modelling in aeronautical and industrial applications 2011
Traditionally, the seminar focused both on the mathematical modelling of flow dynamics (CFD) and the experimental simulations, also the aerodynamic optimization and flight mechanics were discussed at the seminar. Contributions presented were focused on applied aerodynamics of the aircraft, aircraft propulsion units, steam turbines and also on the development of CFD tools, experimental techniques and aeroacoustics.
The seminar also gained an important role as a meeting place of experts in various fields of industry and academic sphere and thereby contributed to the direct exchange of the latest knowledge and experience. The organisation of the seminar was supported by the Aerospace Research and Test Establishment and the Association of the Aviation Manufacturers of the Czech Republic.
