Fire resistant and fireproof tests
In VZLÚ a.s. was developed and succesfully tried stand for fire resistant and fireproof tests.
Test stand was designed according the international standards ISO 2685. Testing procedure matches the international standard ISO 2685. With this test stand is possible to realize the tests which is decribed in circular letter AC 20-135.
The base of test stand is the flame generator. The flame from the generator gets off from the oval burner nozzle with dimensions (6 x 11) inches. The temperature of flame is maintained in range (1100±80)°C. The flame covered at least 25 % of burner nozzle output.
The flame temperature is measured using seven vertically oriented thermocouples with 1,5 mm diameter. Thermocouples are installed in horizontally sliding holder. Holder makes it possible to measure the temperature profile through the nozzle output.
Heat flux density of the flame-thrower equipment is maintained in the range (116±10) kW/m2. Heat flux density before and after test is measured using the copper pipe, which is inside cooled by water. The value of thermic power depends on diference between input and output from the pipe (decribing in the standard ISO 2685).
